Direct bookings: your own website and payments with no platform commission

A repeat guest already knows you. If they come back through a booking site, you pay a commission for someone who was already yours. With My website you can give them another way in.
Your website in an afternoon
In your profile menu, My website:
- Four templates: Costa, Urbano, Boutique and Minimal.
- Sections like About us, Why book direct, Photo gallery, Guest reviews, Map and Contact.
- An address on doorslink.com or your own domain.
- In Spanish, English, French and German.
Getting paid into your own account
In Settings, in the Payments section, you connect your Stripe account. The money goes straight into your Stripe account and GuestChat takes no commission (Stripe charges its usual fees). Then you turn on Accept bookings and payments on your website.
The guest who writes to you directly
From the Calendar, use Create manual booking and tick The guest has to pay:
- They get a payment link.
- The dates are held for 24 hours.
- Until they pay, they get no automated messages and no door code.
The guest can view or cancel their booking without creating an account, and the AI also replies to them by email.
Where to start
- Open My website, pick the template that looks most like your property and turn on only the sections you are going to fill in properly.
- Connect your Stripe account in Settings, in the Payments section.
- Turn on Accept bookings and payments on your website.
- Before you give it to anyone, test it yourself: create a manual booking with The guest has to pay and go through the whole process as if you were the guest.
