A complete property profile: section by section, and what to fill in first

By GuestChat Team ·

The property profile is the source of almost everything: what the AI answers, what goes into your messages, what the guest sees in their link. A half-done profile shows in every conversation. Here is an order we suggest to get it ready in one afternoon.

The sections

In Properties, when you edit a property, the sidebar has eleven sections:

  1. Basic Information: name, address, emergency contact and whether the property is active.
  2. Integrations: the Nuki lock and the link with Turno.
  3. AI Training: the assistant's name, what it knows about the property and your own rules.
  4. Access & Entry: how the guest gets in, check-in and check-out times, instructions and photos.
  5. Parking/Garage: parking space, floor, size, a link to the entrance and photos.
  6. Services & Policies: amenities, pets, children, extra guest, early check-in and late check-out, bedrooms and beds, house rules and local recommendations.
  7. AI Detailed Info: finer details so it answers better.
  8. Additional Info.
  9. Cleaning: instructions and tasks for the cleaning team.
  10. Image Bank: tagged photos so the AI can send them when guests ask.
  11. Guest Instructions: the preview of what your guests will see.

Changes are saved automatically.

The order we recommend

  1. Access & Entry first. It causes the most questions and it is the most urgent thing for the guest.
  2. Basic Information, without forgetting the Emergency Contact.
  3. Services & Policies: check the amenities you really have (the search box helps: crib, hair dryer, iron, coffee maker...) and decide your policies on times.
  4. AI Training: write the detailed information, by topic.
  5. Parking/Garage, if you have a space.
  6. Go over Guest Instructions as if you were a guest.

What people forget most

  • The Wi-Fi, exact name and password, with the capital letters.
  • Bedrooms and beds: how many beds there are in each bedroom, and what kind. It avoids the classic "we thought there were two beds".
  • The house rules, written clearly.
  • Local recommendations: the AI uses them before generic ones.
  • Whether you accept an extra guest, so the AI doesn't improvise.

When you have several properties

Fill in one properly and use Copy to Others, in AI Training, to bring over to the rest whatever they share (the assistant's name, your rules, what the AI knows or the image bank). Then adjust in each one whatever is different: access, parking, Wi-Fi. Remember that copying replaces whatever the target property had.

How to tell if it is complete

Three quick tests:

  • Open the guest chat from the button in the AI Training header and ask it the five questions you get most often.
  • Look at the Teach your assistant card on the Panel home screen: it also asks you about details of your property that are still empty.
  • Read the Guest Instructions preview on your phone, which is where the guest will read it.

Keeping it up to date

A profile is never completely finished. Every time you change something in the apartment (a new coffee maker, a new code for the building door, a new building rule), take a minute to add it. It is the minute that saves you the most questions.
